Well, I've figured out how to use the hospital's WiFi.
We came in last night around 7, had the Servadil insert (Which is supposed to soften up the cervix and maybe get contractions going), and waited all night. Angie got up to pee every half-hour, nurses kept coming in to check the monitor, and I think I got two hours of sleep. Guess I'd better get used to it.
So our doctor checked us this morning, and . . . NOTHING! Not dilated at all!! Angie says she has an "over-competent cervix."
But then Angie started having contractions, and we got a new insert, and an hour later, she was 1 cm dilated. If it keeps going, we'll get on Pitocin, and if it doesn't, Angie is in favor of getting opened up to get that baby out of there.
That's where we're at now. There, and watching the Project Runway marathon on Bravo. Fabulous.

At least you have Project Runway to keep you entertained. LOVE THAT SHOW! Can't wait to hear how things go. :)
Hugs from Missouri!
Don't know which I find funnier, the idea of an overcomplicated cervix (maybe she needs to get a cervix psychologist to help her cervix work through it's issues;) or the fact that you're being entertained by Project Runway! *so fierce* I hope it goes quickly! I was a C-section baby and my mom always says it isn't as scary as it sounds:)

PS How do you spell cervix?
Things are moving forward...
Thinking of you, can't wait to hear more!!
Thanks for the update Justin! I've been keeping watch on FB and the blog all morning to keep updated. It's good to know that you're all doing ok and that things are progressing. It's also good to know what to pray for. SOON! You're doing great...
